Want to donate a certain amount toward help for your friend or loved one? No problem! Purchase a custom gift card for her to apply to services. We will work directly with her to help her understand her options for applying the amount.

How it works to make it easy for you to care and seamless for them to receive the help they need.

    • If you are giving as a group, use a platform such as GoFundMe to raise the amount you’d like to use to purchase Share the Load services.

    • If you would like to purchase a dollar amount other than the options listed, no problem! Please purchase a Gift Card for your custom amount.

    • Share your (the Giver’s) contact information in case we have any questions.

    • Share the Recipient’s information.

    • We will provide a beautifully, thoughtful way to present your gift.

    • The recipient connects with us to book their service at a time that works best for them.

    • We will remind them (without bugging them) that we are ready to serve them* when they need the help.

    *Scheduling is dependent on Home Manager availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We currently offer services in the south Atlanta areas. If your recipient is outside this area, reach out—we’re happy to confirm availability.

  • Once they receive the gift, they can simply reach out to us to get started. We’ll guide them through next steps, including learning about their home and scheduling their first visit.

  • Yes! You’re welcome to gather a group gift—many clients use a platform like GoFundMe to collect contributions and then purchase a gift. We’re also happy to help you customize something based on your group’s budget—just reach out to info@letssharetheload.com.

  • We ask that gifts be used within 6 months so your recipient can enjoy the support in a timely and meaningful way.

  • Yes—if the gift goes unused, we’re happy to issue a refund to the original purchaser.

  • Share the Load services are not tax deductible, as they are a personal service and not a charitable contribution.

  • Our Home Managers support with things like tidying, meal prep, laundry folding and putting away, and small projects around the home. Each visit is tailored to what matters most to the client.

  • Wonderful! The gift can be applied to their existing services.

  • We thoughtfully match each client with a Home Manager based on their needs, preferences, and availability.

  • A little bit. We’ll guide them through anything ahead of their first visit so they feel fully prepared and comfortable. If you feel like they are in a season where this would feel overwhelming, you can designate a point person for us to communicate with instead.

  • Yes—gifts can be applied toward a Jump Start or organizational projects, depending on the recipient’s needs.
